Mapping Attendance Categories to the NSW Government Attendance Register Codes

The NSW Department of Education requires that attendance records are reported using specific attendance register codes. In the event that these codes are not the codes that your school has set up in Educonnex, you can map these existing codes to the government codes to allow the correct reporting information to be generated from your attendance records in Educonnex.
Before you can map your attendance codes, you must set up the government attendance register codes in System Codes.

To create these codes:

  1. Go to Menu > Administration >  System Codes > System Codes.
  2. Search for and select the NSW Government Attendance Register Codes.
  1. Click Create and enter in the NSW Government Attendance Code (the code and the value should be the same).
  1. Click the tick to save
  2. Repeat this to enter all the NSW Government Codes.

To map your attendance codes:

  1. Go to Menu > Administration > System Codes > System Code Mappings.
  2. Click Create New

A new screen will appear.

  1. Complete the relevant fields.
